happy day

I made this happy little card using a couple challenges.

First is this lovely inspiration photo from Unity:

And then the current challenge from Simon Says Stamp to use something clear.

First I used a heart stencil and applied some clear embossing paste. After that was dry I painted on some distress inks using a flat wide brush. The paste will resist the ink. It's really hard to photograph that clear paste!
Make sure you wipe off the ink as soon as you are done painting as even the distress inks can stain the paste. There is a faint orange tint on the top hearts, hardly noticeable though.

Some twine, enamel dots, and a fun stamp from Unity finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a happy day yourself!
