GIU, Day 1

Guess what?? I get to be the Growing in Unity girl for this week!

That means that every day this week I will post a new project using Unity stamps. I'm a little late because I was a last-minute fill-in, but, hey, I still get to do it!

For my first post I made a fall-themed gift sack/envelope.

I wish I coud tell you which stamp set this sentiment came from but I'm not sure. I think I got it in a grab bag from Unity.

Fall Greetings. Sackelope style.

 I made another project using Unity's latest stamp of the week called Pumpkin Greetings.

This time I made another sackelope!

I made this card earlier this week and decided to make this project much brighter and happier and less vintage-y than my card. I layered some bright modern prints and vellum on a striped kraft bag.  I stamped the pumpkins on watercolored paper and colored in with Distress inks and a waterbrush.

Lots of fun was had making this little guy.

a card, envelope, bag thingy....

I made a card to send to someone in a bigger package so instead of using a standard envelope (since it wasn't directly being mailed) I stuck it in this kraft sack. A sackelope maybe?? Think that could catch on? :)

I didn't pull out the card on the inside but it;s inked up with the Kaleidiscope stencil from Ronda Palazzari and I masked off an area for my note.

I used some of my favorite Unity stamps (Insightful Meadows on the tag, Vintage
Handwritten on the green paper, sentiment is from Where You Should Be) so I'm linking up to Unity's Friends with Flair hop.

Simon Says Stamp weekly challenge is to use a tag. So I'm linking up there too. :)

I was trying to conjure up a Springtime feel with these colors and flowers so I hope I managed to do just that!
