homemade embellishments

I was reading the Scrapbook Steals blog and one of their craft challenges was to make your own embellishments. Sounded fun so here's what I made!

I used two of my fave colors (coral and kraft) and a sheet of Teresa Collins' You are My Happy paper to make these tags and embellies. I die cut some shapes, stamped and fussy-cut images (Dutch Mustard Soup), and then layered them all up.

Here's some close-ups:

I'm linking up to:
*Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - use your favorite technique/product - I used my fave colors and techniques (die cutting and layering)
*Scrapbook Steals Monday Craft Madness #18 - homemade embellishments
